✨ Wonder

Why do jellyfish sting?

The jellyfish drifts past without seeing you — it has no eyes and no brain. But its tentacles are covered in stinging cells: tiny capsules with a harpoon coiled up inside. Brush against one, and it fires entirely on its own.

The jellyfish decided nothing. The harpoons did it all.
